DIY PR STRATEGIES UPSKILL STARTUPS TO BECOME PR PROS

SUADA Develops IKEA of PR Strategies for Startups & Entrepreneurs

DIY PR startup, SUADA, has launched in Australia and is upskilling new business owners to manage their own PR with simple, effective and easy-to-implement strategies and tips.

Inspired by the accessibility of an IKEA flat pack, SUADA PR strategies include a set of tools that entrepreneurs and startup founders will need to promote their business in the first few years of operation. The strategies are developed to meet the needs and goals of each business, but with a set structure to ensure all ideas and tips are accessible and easy to implement. They’re designed for people who are keen to keep their business viable in the long term, but have little to no PR expertise.

Naomi Brooker founded SUADA in 2017 after spending the better part of a decade managing major brands at global PR firms. It became clear that while a few brands reaped the benefits of large-scale, creative PR campaigns, more often than not it was the ‘bread and butter’ tactics, with relevant and down-to-earth communication, that really delivered results.

This simplified approach to PR works particularly well for startups. But, more often than not, there is just not enough budget in the early days to pay someone to do the work. That’s how SUADA was born. With clear, concise and easy-to-implement PR plans, entrepreneurs and startup founders can promote their business confidently, without sacrificing too much of their budget.

“It can be incredibly challenging to develop and launch your own business. SUADA provides a safety net for people who don’t yet feel comfortable or confident promoting their business, but know that it’s essential to driving awareness and success in the first few years,” said Naomi Brooker.

“At SUADA, we help new business owners figure out the best way to position their brand, to promote it and protect it from potential issues. The resulting PR strategy is a paint-by-numbers approach for people with little to no promotional experience, that’s developed specifically to meet their business and communications goals.”

SUADA means ‘persuasion’ in latin and this is what these PR plans are all about: persuading people to believe in the business idea as much as their founders do. For more information about SUADA visit www.suada.com.au or email hello@suada.com.au.
