Do the MAFS: Over 1m metro viewers as Nine wins the night

Nine’s Married at First Sight topped the overall ratings and entertainment on Tuesday, with the network also celebrating an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 1.028 million metro viewers, with the program also winning all three key advertising demos, and surpassed both Seven and Nine News.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 1 March, Tuesday’s episode of MAFS was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.782 million viewers, including 415,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 48%. The program with the biggest uplift was an episode of The Rookie on Seven at 58%.

Next in entertainment was Seven’s The Chase Australia which brought in 523,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s Home and Away which saw an average of 517,000 metro viewers tune in.

The Hundred with Andy Lee on Nine had 461,000 metro viewers, followed by Hotseat on Nine which saw an average of 447,000 metro viewers tune in.

SAS Australia on Seven had 345,000 metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, the #1 program on Tuesday was MAFS, followed by Seven News which aired to 994,000 metro viewers, while Nine News had 974,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 had 944,000, and Seven News at 6:30 brought in 939,000 metro viewers,

Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 35.5 over Seven’s 25.1%, while Ten had an 16.7% share, and the ABC had a 15.2% share.

Nine won the primary channel share and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.4%.
