Domain.com.au iPhone app hits download milestone

Real estate company Domain.com.au has reported 250,000 downloads of its iPhone app since it launched in June last year.   

The announcement:

Domain.com.au was not only the first in the property market to launch an iPhone app, it has proven to be the most successful, notching up over 250,000 downloads since it launched in June last year.

Around 12.5 per cent of Australia’s two million iPhones now have the Domain.com.au iPhone App with an average of 548 Australians downloading the Domain.com.au iPhone App every day.

The Domain.com.au iPhone App provides house-hunters with the capability to search for properties to buy, rent and share, no matter where they are. Users also have the ability to organise property inspection schedules and access recent sales data, becoming a necessity for those attending open houses or auctions.

John Brand, General Manager of Key Categories, NSW Publishing said: “We are helping our agents drive their marketing value further by facilitating better, faster, more measurable engagement with their buyers via new technologies. The app currently accounts for seven per cent of all Domain.com.au leads to real estate agents and generates one enquiry for every four users.”

The Domain.com.au iPhone App allows householders to search thousands of properties Australia-wide, view listings and photo galleries, check open for inspection times, email or call the agent directly from the iPhone, and sync their Domain.com.au account with their iPhone so they can view short listed properties no matter where they are.
