Domino’s searching for new CMO as Allan Collins departs

Domino’s is on the hunt for a new chief marketing officer in Australia and New Zealand following the resignation of Allan Collins.

Collins has spent almost 15 years with the business, starting out as CMO in 2007 before being elevated to group chief marketing officer in 2011.

Collins is leaving Domino’s after almost 15 years

His departure comes a year after former CMO Melody Livingston, who reported into Collins, being made the chief marketing officer of skin care brand Moo Goo. Upon her exit, Livingston’s role was absorbed by Collins.

Collins’ last day will be 9 April.

Domino’s CEO Nick Knight thanked Collins for his work: “Over the past 15 years, Allan has been instrumental in helping us grow the business, challenge the status quo, and build an agile, world-class marketing function.

“He will long be remembered for his creativity, charisma and commitment to the Domino’s brand, and his tireless focus on putting the customer first.

“We thank him for his significant contribution and wish him well on his next endeavour.”

Throughout his tenure at Domino’s Collins has leveraged technology to address the brand’s customer experience and utilised social media as a channel for acting on consumer feedback.

Collins is leaving to ‘pursue new career opportunities’. The recruitment process for his replacement is already underway.

“We have talented people in key positions across the entire marketing department to keep delivering sales growth, before a new CMO is appointed who can bring a fresh approach and new thinking,” Knight added.

“We look forward to welcoming a talented new CMO to the business, who will continue to put Domino’s on the map and in the households of millions for years to come.”
