DoorDash launches first major campaign with The Monkeys

DoorDash has launched its first major campaign with The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song, unveiling a new brand platform, ‘Smash It’.

The agency was appointed to DoorDash’s creative roster in July last year.

As one of the largest on demand delivery platforms in the United States, DoorDash is growing quickly in Australia, and the new campaign aims to further its brand awareness and loyalty.

The brand platform features a new visual identity, while the campaign highlights the issues everyday Aussies encounter – and the profound moment when the things they need most arrive at their door from a ‘Dasher’.

“The brief was to champion the everyday, to highlight those ordinary moments when you need something the most and it’s not within reach,” said DoorDash’s head of marketing, Natasha Aaron.

“That amongst the chaos of daily life, there’s a sense of relief that you can get what you want and need at a moment’s notice all within one platform.”

Ant Keogh, chief creative at The Monkeys, concluded: “We worked really hard to create a campaign full of memorability, to help DoorDash be top of mind for consumers when they reach for their phones.”

Directed by Trevor Clarence from Sweetshop, the integrated campaign is rolling out across TV, BVOD, OOH, online, radio and social.
