Drama ahead of final vows on MAFS secures another win for Nine

Married At First Sight (MAFS) on Nine has dominated Wednesday night programming with 914,000 metro viewers and topped all three advertising demos.

Hard Quiz on ABC followed in entertainment with 499,000 metro viewers. The Chase Australia on Seven brought in 461,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s Home and Away aired to 453,000 metro viewers, followed by The Weekly with Charlie Pickering on ABC with 426,000 metro viewers.

Hot Seat on Nine attracted 325,000 metro viewers, while the network’s Under Investigation pulled in 306,000.

The #1 news program on Wednesday was Seven News with 833,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 830,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 672,000 and Nine News with 649,000.

The top-rated network was Nine with a 35.8% share, followed by Seven with 25.1%, ABC with 17.2% and Ten with 14.1%.

Nine was the top-rated primary channel with a 27.7% share, but 9Gem and 7Two tied as the top-rated multichannels with a 3.1% each.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 15 March, MAFS on Nine last Wednesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.91 million Total TV viewers, including 595,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 63%.
