Dulux Group reappoints OMD as its media agency after competitive pitch

OMD has announced its re-appointment as the master media agency for Dulux Group, which includes brands Dulux Paints, British Paints, Woodcare, Cabot’s, Selleys, Yates and B&D Doors.

Mumbrella revealed the media account was being pitched in October, and now the Omnicon agency reappointed after a competitive pitch process.

As a result, OMD will continue with its current remit of media strategy, planning and buying across all channels for Dulux Group.

OMD Australia CEO Aimee Buchanan said the agency is delighted to continue to partner with Dulux Group.

“DuluxGroup and their iconic brands have been a part of the OMD family for over thirty years. 2020 saw a home improvement boom unlike never before and we are delighted to continue to partner with DuluxGroup at such a crucial time for their business,” she said.

The announcement follows OMD Sydney winning the account for Greencross last week.

Dulux Group’s creative account was recently won by DDB, but Thinkerbell will cover B&D Doors and Selleys after winning the B&D Group account in August.
