Clemenger BBDO Sydney releases first work with Duro-Tuss

Clemenger BBDO Sydney has released its first work for iNova Pharmaceuticals’ Duro-Tuss brand, featuring Lingering Cough as a character.

The agency was appointed to iNova Pharmaceuticals’ portfolio of brands in November 2020.

In the 15 second spot, a woman attempts to do yoga while Lingering Cough pesters her, tickling her throat with a feather.

The spot promotes iNova Pharamaceuticals’ new product, Duro-Tuss Lingering Cough Liquid and Immune Support.

iNova Pharmaceuticals managing director Andrew Jenkin said: “In a highly cluttered and seasonal category, it was important that we got our message out in a clear and memorable way. We’d like to thank the team at Clems for creating a campaign we believe will be effective both this year and beyond.”

Clemenger BBDO Sydney executive creative director Darren Wright added: “A cough is a pain at the best of times, but a lingering one that hangs around even when you’re feeling better, that’s just annoying. We wanted to bring that feeling to life with a bit of humour.”

The campaign was live from last week, and also features a social content series following the couple’s strife.

Recent campaigns from Clemenger BBDO Sydney includes work for V Energy, Sydney Water, and Tourism Tasmania.
