Eddie locks it in for two nights in a row and takes Nine to a Wednesday win

Nine’s Hot Seat has beaten Seven’s Deal or No Deal for the second night in a row leading Nine to a ratings win for Wednesday night.

Following the long-awaited win for Hot Seat on Tuesday night, the show pulled in 731,000 viewers on Wednesday compared to Deal or No Deal’s 696,000, according to preliminary OzTam figures.

Despite Seven’s World’s Strictest Parents being the most watched show for Wednesday with 1.5m, Nine came out on top with a .6 per cent larger share than Seven.

Last night’s ratings for Ten also mimicked those of two weeks ago with the success of Spicks and Specks on the ABC taking the channel to third place in market share.

Last night’s share: Nine 27.9%, Seven 27.3%, ABC 19.5%, Ten 19.1%, SBS 6.3%
