Eddie McGuire sports quiz Between The Lines lost another 20% of its audience on Thursday night – dropping to just 518,000 viewers and falling to 24th most watched show of the day.
McGuire was even beaten for the second week running by his own teatime gameshow Hot Seat which rated 619,000.
Between the Lines made its debut a fortnight ago with 696,000 viewers, before falling to 610,000 last week.
Last night’s episode was fourth in its timeslot – beaten by the Oprah Winfrey finale week on Ten (1.057m), Grey’s Anatomy on Seven (799,000) and Recipe for Murder (836,000) on ABC1 according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Nine’s RBT – extended to an hour for the second week running – fell from 898,000 to 761,000.
