Eddie McGuire’s return to Nine’s Millionnaire hot seat was less than stellar, coming in well behind Seven’s Deal Or No Deal.
The 5.30pm debut of Who Wants To be A Millionaire: Hot Seat pulled in an audience of just 600,000, according to preliminary OzTam TV ratings. Over on Seven, Deal Or No Deal delivered nearly 800,000.

Can’t help but think the game show battle for the 5:30pm slot epitomises FTA’s sheer desperation in the face of declining audiences.

It seemed to me that this Hot Seat was a very cold seat. It seemed like it was all done before. Now, how can that be?
Maybe 9 should consider that the viewing audience are not dumb, brain-dead creatures.
