Edelman wins Extra Professional

PR agency Edelman Sydney has won the account for Wrigley’s Extra Professional range after a three-way pitch.

The account includes media relations, building relationships with healthcare professionals and experiential.

The win is one of several for Edelman including PR and social media for McAfee and UCLA, PR for J&J’s Listerine and for Natuzzi and social media for Clinique.

Wrigley Pacific corporate affairs director Catherine Pemberton said: “The Edelman team really showed their commitment to understanding our brand – they put a huge amount of effort into mapping the best approach to engage our wide range of audiences. Their close connections within healthcare sector, added to their creative consumer approach, made for a winning pitch.”

Edelman’s Sydney GM Alexandra Kelly said: “We’re incredibly excited to be adding Extra Professional to the stable of Wrigley programs that we currently implement.”

The account will be led by associate director of corporate affairs Kate Fergusson, a recent arrival from Edelman’s New York office.
