Edison Research president Larry Rosin to headline Mumbrella Audioland plus more speakers announced

Larry Rosin, President of Edison Research, the publisher of respected annual digital media consumption research The Infinite Dial, with Triton Digital, will fly in from New Jersey to present the headline keynote at Mumbrella Audioland.

The Infinite Dial has become one of the most important sources of regular audio industry research, having launched in the USA in 1998. An Australian study has also been produced since 2017.

Everything from radio consumption to smart speakers, digital radio to podcasting and more is covered across a wide range of demographics.

Rosin will present the latest results from The Infinite Dial research at Mumbrella Audioland and explain its relevance to the industry.

Mumbrella Audioland will take place on May 2 at the Amora Hotel Jamison in Sydney. Tickets are on sale now at earlybird rates.

Four senior industry leaders will discuss audio strategy in the modern media mix

Also confirmed is a panel addressing audio strategy in the modern media mix. It will feature Nikki Rooke, head of radio sales at SCA, Pete Whitehead, chief commercial officer at ARN, Ashley Earnshaw, chief investment officer at Dentsu Aegis’ Amplifi ANZ and Emily Croker, commercial partnerships director for Australia and New Zealand at Acast.

The panel will address how advertisers and their agencies need to think about the new audio landscape, from radio to on-demand including spoken word and music streaming services, and the technology that’s driving change in consumption habits.

It will also look at why it’s important to have a consistent audio approach that works hand-in-hand with a brand’s overall media and marketing strategy.

Blackham will reveal best-practice when it comes to voice experience

Voice experience will also be addressed by VERSA founder and managing director, Kath Blackham.

VERSA is Australia’s first enterprise level voice experience agency. It creates voice experiences across Alexa and Google Assistant and designs conversational AI for some of Australia’s biggest brands.

At Mumbrella Audioland, Blackham will take delegates through a range of voice experience work and illustrate the opportunities currently available.
