Ego Pharmaceuticals shifts media account without a pitch

Ego Pharmaceuticals has handed its media account to Starcom Melbourne without a pitch, taking the business away from Ikon.

According to a statement, Ego, the manufacturer of QV Skincare and Sunsense, invests around $5m in media nationally.

Starcom Melbourne managing director Peter Toone said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to be working with a family-owned business, founded in Melbourne, which has gone on to huge local and international success.

“QV has carved its own path and not compromised on its core beliefs, making the company a great fit for our agency.”
