Ego Pharmaceuticals shifts media account without a pitch
Ego Pharmaceuticals has handed its media account to Starcom Melbourne without a pitch, taking the business away from Ikon.
According to a statement, Ego, the manufacturer of QV Skincare and Sunsense, invests around $5m in media nationally.
Starcom Melbourne managing director Peter Toone said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to be working with a family-owned business, founded in Melbourne, which has gone on to huge local and international success.
“QV has carved its own path and not compromised on its core beliefs, making the company a great fit for our agency.”
Derek Murphy, Ego head of marketing, said: “The consistent quality of the Starcom team, coupled with their relentless drive to better understand and connect with people, is what excited us about working with this team.”
