Emma Notarfranceso joins Car Advice and Drive

Television presenter and motorsport personality Emma Notarfranceso joins Car Advice and Drive.

The announcement:

Emma Notarfrancesco has been a constant on Aussie television screens for the last decade presenting for Sunrise in the traffic chopper before moving to Channel Ten’s nightly 5pm news. In 2014 Emma began reporting for international soccer events before making her motorsport debut covering the Supercars pitlane.

Having previously presented for Which Car’s automotive show, worked as host and executive producer for Australian Superbikes, Emma has also reported on various Australian Grands Prix interviewing the likes of Daniel Riccardo and David Coulthard.

“As a self-confessed rev head, it seemed only natural that driving cars and writing about them would be the next step in my career”, says Emma about her new role. “I’m thrilled to be part of the Car Advice / Drive team. It’s great to see more and more women playing an active role in front of and behind the camera – but there is always room for more.”

Car Advice Managing Editor, Trent Nikolic said: “Our editorial team has gone from strength to strength this year. Having such a diverse range of talent with varied automotive skillsets and backgrounds really comes across on our site. Our audience is more engaged than ever and in the past six months we’ve seen growth of almost 50 per cent over the same time last year.”

Emma is proud ambassador for not-for-profit organisation ‘FIA Girls on Track.’ A school’s programme targeting 8-18-year-olds girls designed to encourage females to get involved in all areas of motorsport. “I’m very passionate about encouraging all women to feel empowered behind the wheel, be it on four wheels or two, and in pursuing a career in what has typically been a male dominated industry,” said Emma.

Emma’s addition to the team comes ahead of the re-launch of the Drive brand in 2021 which will see the consolidation of the existing Drive and Car Advice platforms.
