Emotive’s chief strategy officer Lucielle Vardy departs for head of strategy role at Naked

The chief strategy officer of content agency Emotive has left the company to take on a new role as the head of strategy at Naked.

Vardy joined Emotive from GPY&R in September 2016 after spending three years as its executive planning director.

Throughout her career Vardy has also had stints at Mindshare, Virgin Mobile and TBWA.

“It’s such an exciting time to be joining Naked. The agency is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the changing demands being made on CMOs and the evolution of the industry at large,” Vardy said in a statement.

Joining Vardy at Naked as a senior strategist is Sebastian Revell.

Revell was previously a senior planner at Saatchi & Saatchi for seven months and has also been freelancing for 72andSunny.

Tim Kirby, managing director at Naked, added: “In Lucielle and Seb we found two people who are restless to push for change in the way agencies can work with their clients.

“Their fantastically varied experience fits perfectly with how we like to think, and they are both lovely people to boot. We’re excited to have them join the Naked team to champion our focus on strategic communications, and believe it is a clear signal that objectively-focused strategic thinking is in demand once again.”

The new appointments come two months after the agency’s strategy director Craig Adams departed to return to London.
