AUSSIE BEAUTY ERIKA HEYNATZ PARTNERS WITH NEW-TO-MARKET HEALTH BRAND

International health brand Yantra, has today announced one of Australia’s most recognisable top models, Erika Heynatz, as ambassador of popular Swedish acupressure product, the Yantra Mat, launching into the Australian and New Zealand markets this month.

The appointment will see Erika become the face of the Yantra Mat as part of a year-long marketing contract including an extensive PR campaign, point-of-sale, direct mail and a heavyweight online and social media component.

Developed in Sweden, where its popularity resulted in an astounding one in every nine Swedes owning one, the Yantra Mat assists millions of people across the globe with stress management, sleep deprivation and body aches and pains using the non-invasive technique of acupressure to improve overall health and wellbeing.

Erika says she is excited by her new venture as ambassador: “I regularly suffer from insomnia and muscle tension and don’t like resorting to pills. I was already an advocate of the Yantra Mat before being approached by the brand so the decision to come on board as the ambassador was an easy one. The mat is natural, non-invasive and portable so I take it and use it almost anywhere when I’m travelling. I’m really excited to see how Aussies embrace the product as an alternative to other more conventional remedies.”

Director of Ashbloo (parent company of the Yantra brand Australia) Steve Hull, says he is confident the Yantra Mat will have a significant impact on the health and beauty markets here in Australia and in New Zealand: “The Yantra brand is growing significantly, with millions of users across the globe reaping the rewards of this new therapy, and with such a captive audience in Australia, we’re expecting to experience some strong sales results here too.

“We’re delighted to have Erika on board as ambassador. As an influential Australian woman who is active and outgoing yet suffers from sleep deprivation and muscle tension at times, she is perfect for both the brand and product,” Steve says.

As a natural health alternative to medication, the Yantra Mat boasts 8,820 acupressure points to provoke endorphins and oxytocins (natural pain relief and feel-good hormones) for relaxation and restful sleep.

Initially the Yantra range will be available to purchase (via www.yantramat.com.au), however plans are to move into the retail arena in the future.
