Eskimo redevelops Witchery website

Fashion, retail and luxury creative consultancy Eskimo has launched a redesigned website for clothing retailer Witchery.

The announcement:

Specialist fashion, retail and luxury creative consultancy eskimo have collaborated with longstanding client Witchery, digital agency Arkade and e-commerce provider Estar to revamp Witchery’s full digital experience for style-savvy shoppers.

Launching this week the new look website marks a digital evolution for Witchery, one that has consolidated and pulled all social channels inline. The new design not only looks great, it’s both faster and simpler to use. Consumers will discover the technical enhancements you’d expect from one of Australia’s leading e-commerce retailers, but furthermore the brand’s online experience is brought to life with more inspirational fashion content than ever.

The new site, equipped with customised mobile version, successfully integrates the Witchery portfolio of brand departments – including WitcheryMan, WitcheryKids and Witchery8fourteen. There is a focus on easy navigation and customer journey through site, with inspirational ‘hub’ pages to drive brand followers to featured trend articles and the new blog designed to inspire, daily.

Witchery’s 700K + loyalty members will also receive a unique member experience on the new website allowing
them to earn and redeem rewards on all online transactions.

They will be able to stay up-to-date on the go with the highly accessible, cleanly designed mobile app due for launch in mid September.

Witchery’s Online Manager Emily Redward commends eskimo on delivering “intelligent, effective design, across multiple platforms”. Emily is currently working with eskimo on the eagerly awaited launch of the W.Manual online, which will give the WitcheryMan consumers their own unique section of the online space.

The expansive digital platform further positions Witchery as a global style authority, and heros beautifully executed content as king. Creative Director Clare Stephens reiterates eskimo’s vision to see the new platform spark new brand behaviour for Witchery through High Summer and into Autumn Winter 2014. Take note and enjoy as this space continues to evolve with some benchmark behaviour for Australian online retail.
