Essence chief of media Theo Zisoglou joins Thump as GM
Theo Zisoglou has joined independent media agency Thump Media as general manager.
Zisoglou joins from Essence, where he was appointed as chief media officer in February of this year.

He joined AKQA Media in February 2021 as executive director in Brisbane, with the agency later merging with – and rebranding as – Essence at the turn of this year.
Zisoglou said on his LinkedIn this afternoon he is “very happy to be back in the world of indies” starting his new role at Thump.
During his career, he has held roles at several agencies including Match Media, Mediacom, Ikon Communications, and Bohemia, while he began his career at Mitchell & Partners.
Mumbrella contacted Essence on whether a replacement for Zisoglou would be appointed, with the upcoming merger between the agency and its GroupM sister agency, Mediacom.
