Euro RSCG Sydney MD Julie Burke exits

Euro RSCG Sydney managing director Julie Burke has left the agency.

She resigned six weeks ago without a job to go to.

Euro RSCG Group Australia CEO Anthony Gregorio has stepped into Burke’s role during the search for her replacement.

Gregorio said: “Julie is a fantastic operator. And we’re disappointed to see her go. I respect her immensely and wish her all the best for the future.”

Burke was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.

The well-respected Burke joined Euro from Fallon. Prior to that she was chief strategy officer at Carmichael Lynch in the US. She also had spells at Lowe Hunt, BMF, McCann Erickson and Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York.

At BMF, she ran accounts including ING Direct, Australian Meat and Livestock, Ella Bache, IKEA and Dairy Farmers.
