Event management software provider Etouches launches venue sourcing tool

Etouches, an event management software provider has launched a venue sourcing tool to simplify the organisation of business events.

The announcement:

Etouches, a global cloud event management software provider, today announced the launch of its new strategic Venue Sourcing tool in Australia, designed to automate and simplify the entire process of sourcing, negotiating and booking venues for business events.

Etouches’ new Venue Sourcing tool enables event planners and organisers to search and compare more than 225,000 venues throughout Australia and the rest of the world to find the best-fit location for their events’ unique requirements. Users can issue RFPs to multiple venues, compare and qualify responses based on set criteria. Then, Etouches pushes meeting technology further with features that help planners negotiate, communicate, aggregate bids and book their meetings within budget.

Miranda Carter, Director of Marketing APAC at Etouches, believes the new tool will dramatically help organisations take the complexity out of sourcing and booking venues, ultimately saving them time and money.

“Sourcing venues has always been tedious, teeming with various manual tasks,” said Carter. “Searching for the right venue, sending RFPs and managing the thousands of details associated with hiring venues takes up a lot of valuable time for event planners.

“Current solutions are one-dimensional directories that cover only 10% of a planner’s sourcing needs. Etouches’ Venue Sourcing is a highly intelligent platform that completes the entire booking process with a whole new level of RFP response transparency, negotiating and contracting.  For planners, it can help reduce their manual workload by up to 70%,” she added.

The new Venue Sourcing tool eliminates many of the manual burdens and administrative tasks associated with sourcing a venue, whilst helping organisers evaluate the value of their selected venue, by:

  • Providing an ad-free search engine of hundreds of thousands of venues worldwide, automatically filtering out venues that don’t fit specific meeting requirements.
  • Aggregating proposals in an interactive bid summary to automatically manage updates and calculate costs and savings, so planners can easily compare offers.
  • Offering special features to also help third-party planners better manage and grow their business, including tools to increase client collaboration, generate faster hotel responses, and showcase the value they drive.

“Organisations won’t believe the change this will make to what has historically been an arduous but necessary evil in venue sourcing and negotiation. Planners will benefit greatly from our new, comprehensive Venue Sourcing tool, because whilst they need choice, they don’t need the burden of working across multiple platforms or spreadsheets. By combining our existing market-leading Etouches event management technology with our latest sourcing and booking solution we’re providing a powerful and compelling new option to the marketplace,” Carter concluded.

Oni Chukwu, CEO of Etouches is in Australia today at the launch of the Venue Sourcing solution at AIME, “Our clients are in constant communication with hoteliers and the hospitality market, and adding this Venue Sourcing offer will strengthen that bond close and meet our clients’ expectations,” said Chukwu. “As the preferred alternative for enterprise clients globally, it is a responsibility that we take on with pride.”
