Former DDB Melbourne creatives Stefanie Digianvincenzo and Crystal Fong have emerged as the directors of independent copywriting agency Apostrophe.

The collective is a group of 12 copywriters who are working with clients including Garnier, Adidas, Old Spice and the launch of the new Wolverine Movie.

“Apostrophe was born to meet an increasing demand for quality writers outside a big agency structure,” said Fong. “We’re here to challenge brands to push the boundaries when communicating to their audiences – whether that be on social media, billboards, radio or something more unconventional.”

Fong has worked at Ogilvy, DDB and JWT while Digianvincenzo has had copywriting stints at DDB, Cubed Communications and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.

Digianvincenzo added: “We are a group of approachable copywriters that come to the table with a coffee in hand and a desire to work with various industries and specialists from design and digital agencies, to brand managers, PR firms and like-minded start-ups that are defining their own categories.”
