Joel Noble heading creative services at SBS

Noble: director of independent agency Collude Creative

SBS has named Joel Noble as its new head of creative services, replacing Nol Davis.

The broadcaster said Noble will assume the role after Davis stepped down to return to the UK.

Noble has a long pedigree in TV creative services, having been general manager for Foxtel creative and creative director of Foxtel factual channels.

More recently Noble has been director of independent agency Collude Creative, which has worked for a variety of clients including Foxtel, the ABC, Stan, National Geographic and Imagination.

Announcing the appointment, SBS director of marketing, Amanda McGregor, said the role within the marketing department was pivotal to helping the broadcaster engage audiences.

“Joel brings with him an incredible wealth of experience as a creative lead in a multi-platform media environment in which creative campaigns to support SBS content plays a big part in engaging audiences with our programs and services,” McGregor said.

Noble will handle all output for SBS marketing including program promotion, advertising and brand communications.

Noble has already had a hand in SBS work through Collude, directing the network’s 2016 Eurovision Song Contest promotional campaign starring Dami Im.
