Example checks in Hotel Morris as new client

Culture agency Example has added Hotel Morris Sydney – Handwritten Collection to its PR client catalogue, Mumbrella can reveal.

The partnership will see Example enhancing Hotel Morris’s reputation via three outlets: influencer channels, media relations and creative partnerships.

The agency’s managing director and co-founder, Rebecca Jarvie-Gibbs, said its strategic approach to reputation elevation will offer the hotel the opportunity to cement itself top-of-the-line “boutique hospitality and accommodation” provider.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to represent Hotel Morris,” Jarvie-Gibbs enthused.

“The team has created a beautiful brand and world-class product that brings together the charm of Italian hospitality and the vibrant energy of its city location.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate and leverage our expertise to enhance its profile as a best in class example of boutique hospitality and accommodation.”

For Hotel Morris’s general manager, Atsuko Asano, the working relationship between Example and the hotel is a no-brainer, considering the agency’s background in drink, hotel culture and food.

“We’re delighted to partner with Example to further cement Hotel Morris’s positioning as one of Sydney’s premier boutique hotels. Their expertise in food, drink and hotel culture is second to none,” said Asano.

Hotel Morris’s newfound status as an Example client allows it be a part of the culture company’s hospitality and travel portfolio, which already contains InterContinental Sydney (which signed on with the agency in April 2024), StandardX and QT Hotels.

Having first opened in mid-2023, Hotel Morris boasts 82 rooms and a wine bar inspired by the art-deco style. It’s the first Handwritten Collection hotel based in Sydney that is operated by Accor – the hospitality group.
