Eye supports Connectember

Outdoor media company Eye will donate advertising space to Connectember, a campaign to raise funds for Livewire – the not-for-profit organisation that helps connect sick young Australians and their families.

The announcement:

Leading Out-of-Home media operator, EYE is pleased to support Connectember, the Starlight Children’s Foundation initiative, which aims to raise funds for Livewire – the not-for-profit organisation that connects young Australians living with serious illness or disability along with their siblings, parents and carers by facilitating interaction and support between people experiencing similar situations.

Commencing today, the Connectember campaign will target a broadcast audience via Eye Drive’s Large Format Billboards in New South Wales. The aim of this campaign is to increase awareness and raise funds through online donations at www.connectember.org.au and the sale of Connectember merchandise in Optus stores across the month of September.

Mark Machet – General Manager, Eye Drive commented, “Eye Drive’s Large Format Roadside Billboards provide an excellent way for organisations to reach and impact a broad audience with direct response messages. EYE is committed to supporting charities like the Starlight Children’s Foundation and this campaign is well aligned with the company’s global corporate responsibility and citizenship program; EYE Have a Heart.”

Lynette Klein – Head of Marketing, Starlight Children’s Foundation commented, “The iconic billboards that EYE has sourced for us will play a key role in the promotion of the Connectember campaign, increasing awareness of the livewire.org.au initiative and boosting donations.”
