Fairfax Media launches Drive.com.au iPhone app

Fairfax Media has added a new iPhone app for Drive.com.au to its portfolio.   

The announcement:

The portfolio of iPhone apps from Fairfax Media has grown again with the new Drive.com.au app –allowing car hunters to make a direct enquiry about a car anywhere, any time.

Within just days on the market, the Drive.com.au iPhone app proved that mobility counts by making it to the Top 10 lifestyle app list.

“It’s a unique and highly functional app, and the direct enquiry aspect is one we believe will be key for buyers and sellers, along with fact people can buy or sell a car more easily than ever before,” said General Manager, Key Categories – Fairfax Media, Tony Blamey.

Aside from searching and making direct enquiries, the app also features:

•Refine search criteria by advertiser type; dealers, private party or both

•Create shortlists

•Email short-listed cars to a friend

•Search by make, model, location, price range, KMs, engine and body type, transmission type and more

•View specific car information and details.

To download the app, simply open the App Store on the iPhone or access the App Store via iTunes on a computer and search for Drive. To learn more about the app, go to drive.com.au/iphone.
