Fairfax Radio Network has appointed a new sales director in Brisbane.

Fairfax Radio Network appoints Liz Illidge as new Brisbane Sales Director

Fairfax Radio Network today announced the appointment of well-respected media executive Liz Illidge as Brisbane Sales Director, working across stations 4BC and Magic 882.

Illidge was previously General Manager of WIN NBN Television in Brisbane, where she was responsible for the direct and agency sales teams. With more than 15 years experience in media sales, Illidge has also worked for the Seven Network, Nine Network and all three regional television networks including Prime Television Newcastle and Channel Ten Townsville.

During her time with WIN NBN, Illidge has successfully revitalised the sales team and demonstrated her ability to identify and develop new sales target markets and integrated opportunities with existing and new advertising clients.

“We are very fortunate to have a sales manager the calibre of Liz join the Fairfax Radio Network team and lead our sales department,” Fairfax Radio Network Brisbane General Manager – News Talk 4BC and Magic 882 Anthony Frangi said.

“We have hit the ground running in 2014 with a new presenter line-up in our Breakfast, Morning, Afternoon and Drive timeslots on 4BC, as well as rebranding our entertainment station as Magic 882. It’s going to be a big year for Fairfax Radio Network in Brisbane and a compelling proposition for advertisers.”

Commenting on her appointment, Illidge said: “I’m very excited to be joining Fairfax Radio Network at such an exciting time of change and reinvigoration for two of Brisbane’s best known stations. I look forward to working with the sales team to continue to build on both stations’ success.”

Illidge’s appointment is effective from 3 March, 2014.
