Fairfax’s Domain branches out into events and training, with launch of Domain Academy

Domain, Fairfax’s real estate portal and content platform, has launched its first education and training program for agents, Domain Academy.

The Academy will offer events, training, coaching, online content, tutorials and presentations striving to help Domain’s customers, including residential agents, succeed.=

Domain Academy will be delivered through a network of Domain ambassadors and experts, with plans to make the courses count towards a Continuing Professional Development accreditation.

Antony Catalano, Domain CEO, said in a statement: “We intend for Domain Academy to become Australia’s premier agent training program. This has been a long-desired personal project of mine and I’m delighted our teams are now rolling this out across the country.”

The series of events will include The Domain and Allhomes Rising Star Award, coaching sessions with ambassadors such as Josh Phegan, ‘Women in Real Estate’ workshops, auctioneering workshops and social media masterclasses.

Domain Academy online will launch in the new few weeks.

The latest addition to Domain comes after news broke it was preparing to split from Fairfax to become a separate Fairfax-controlled ASX-listed entity and while the publisher is being approached by international potential buyers.
