Family Travel and Out & About With Kids to merge
Bound Round Pty Ltd and Elwin Media have announced their consumer travel brands Family Travel and Out & About With Kids will now both operate under the Family Travel brand.
The merger makes Family Travel the largest editorial platform of its kind in the APAC region, the company said.
Out & About With Kids magazine will continue quarterly under new masthead Family Travel, with the former title continuing as a recurring section within the publication.
Bound Round has appointed Tatyana Leonov as editor of the new publication, which will continue as Out & About With Kids until its relaunch in the second half of 2018.
Leonov was appointed as editor of Travel Bound, a quarterly eMagazine available on all Virgin Australia flights through the in-flight entertainment system, back in December 2017. She will remain editor of the publication alongside her new duties.
Outandaboutwithkids.com.au will continue to operate alongside familytravel.com.au for the remainder of 2018, with content and campaigns to run across both sites and to both audiences.

As a result of the merger, Elisa Elwin has been appointed as the head of Family Travel Magazine and partnerships, and executive editor at Bound Round.
She will be responsible for the delivery of the editorial strategy and direction of the Family Travel brand in collaboration with Natasha Keller, head of online, marketing and communications at Bound Round.
