Farmer Wants a Wife reunion draws in 532k metro views; Nine takes Tuesday

The reunion episode of Farmer Wants A Wife aired to 532,000 metro viewers on Tuesday, however it was Nine which won the overall network share win.

The episode, which saw the farmers return to reveal whether they have remained with the partners they chose at the end of the full season, had the third-highest BVOD audience of the night at 134,000.

Last year’s reunion aired to 828,000 metro viewers, topping entertainment, and helping Seven to a nightly win.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 27 September, Tuesday’s Seven News at 6:30 was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.452 million viewers, including 42,000 on BVOD and uplift of 3%. The Block was the highest entertainment program with an uplift of 31% and a total audience of 1.354 million viewers.

Looking back at Tuesday’s overnights, The Block on Nine won entertainment with a metro audience of 747,000, followed by an episode of The Chase Australia which aired to 453,000 metro viewers.

Home and Away on Seven was next and aired to an average of 425,000, while The Hundred with Andy Lee had 387,000 metro views.

The Amazing Race Australia on Ten pulled in 308,000.

Meanwhile, Nine News at 6:30 was the #1 metro program on Tuesday with 819,000 metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 816,000 metro viewers. Nine News aired to 790,000, and Seven News brought in 785,000. Next was A Current Affair which pulled in 681,000 viewers, while ABC News brought in 582,000.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 32% over Seven’s 25.6%, while Ten had a share of 17.7%, followed by ABC on 16.7%.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 10 Peach with a share of 3.6%.
