Ferrero media and communications manager, Michelle Hood, departs
Ferrero’s media and communications manager for Australia and New Zealand, Michelle Hood, has left the business after 12 years.
Hood began work with the company, which owns brands Nutella, Tic Tac and Ferrero Rocher, in 2008 as consumer and shopper insight manager and strategist, and was elevated to marketing manager of Nutella five years later.
She took on her most recent role in 2017.
Hood announced her June departure on LinkedIn, writing she was particularly proud of her work on the Nutella brand.
“Contributing to Ferrero’s significant growth in ANZ and particularly transforming Nutella into one of Australia’s most loved brands is something I feel very proud to have been a part of,” Hood said.
“Working for an Italian company has taught me a lot about what it is to be Australian… and the importance of local nuance for global brands.”
Hood also thanked her colleagues and the businesses agency partners in her post.
Mumbrella has contacted Ferrero and Hood for further comment.
Surely these intelligent people can see the satire in pointing our Biden using a “token” black candidate as a running mate rather than taking her on her merits. The Australian is pointing that out not calling her a little brown girl themselves….
Keep going The Australian, you are not being racist.
And to automatically call for an advertiser boycott, as well as “everyone who works for the Australian should be ashamed” is just ridiculous. You’re a part of cancel culture and should be ashamed of yourselves.
