Final week to enter Mumbrella neXt awards

The final entry deadline for the Mumbrella neXt Awards is next Friday, September 27.

Mumbrella’s neXt Awards recognise emerging talent who have been in the industry for 10 years or less. Age doesn’t matter, what counts is an applicant’s achievements and their tenure within the media, marketing and communications industry.

Want to score your own trophy? The Mumbrella neXt Awards first entry deadline is this Friday

This year, there are 13 categories, including Specialist Agency Talent, Community Managers, Content Marketers, Commercial Talent, Video Producers and Events Talent.

Entering is simple, requiring a short, self-shot video (production values are not counted in the score) as well as a brief write up and testimonials. You can enter here.

Hosting the Mumbrella neXt Awards on December 10 at The Chauvel Cinema is Triple J’s breakfast duo, Ben and Liam.

Plus, for the first time ever, Mumbrella is also holding a half day conference targeted at the development of, and growth and investment in, the next stars of the media and marketing industry.

CHE Proximity’s CEO, Chris Howatson; Nova’s CEO, Cathy O’Connor; Coles’ CMO, Lisa Ronson; Mindshare’s CEO, Katie Rigg-Smith; TBWA\ Eleven PR’s Russ Tucker and more are set to front the stage presenting interactive sessions in new formats.

Throughout the day, topics including emotional intelligence, the psychology of groups, how to execute an idea, the obvious career tips no one remembers and an interactive panel session led by some of the industry’s most senior leaders, will be addressed.

Tickets are $99 for the Awards ceremony and $199 for a conference ticket, which includes access to the awards ceremony, and are available here.
