Fintech Wise launches first local brand campaign

Global fintech, Wise, has launched its first brand campaign in Australia, celebrating the diversity of the people, places and moments that a Wise account is made for.

Created and produced in-house by Wise’s brand and creative team, the campaign launches the platform ‘Made for the World’.

The new platform highlights how, unlike traditional banks that are made for a single country or currency, Wise allows Aussies to hold over 50 currencies in one account, giving them the the ability to spend in over 170 countries at the mid-market exchange rate with no sneaky rate markups or hidden fees.

Cian Weeresinghe, Wise CMO, said: “Wise’s mission is money without borders; instant, convenient, transparent and eventually free. It’s these pillars that guide everything we do across our product and our marketing and that’s the approach we’ve taken when bringing this campaign to life.

Modern Australia is made up of multicultural people with financial needs that transcend Australia’s borders – whether it’s sending money back home, moving to another country, going on a gap year or receiving money in another currency. And yet, banks make it incredibly hard and expensive to do those things, being stuck in the old way.

With almost half of Australia’s population having a parent born overseas and more than a quarter of Australian residents being born outside the country, Made for the World recognises and celebrates a new way for Australians to manage their money.”

The campaign, launched in collaboration with Visa, is set to run across all major channels including TV, BVOD, socials and digital.
