Fire-breathing wild boar on a motorbike with rocket launchers in ad for Toyota Hilux

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has launched a new campaign for the 2012 Hilux Toyota featuring a fire breathing wild boar and a talking chimpanzee.

The ‘Tougher than you can imagine’ spot ran first on Toyota’s Facebook page before breaking around the France Vs New Zealand rugby game.

Saatchi & Saatchi CEO Nicky Bell said: “The campaign is the next expression of the famous Hilux ‘Unbreakable’ positioning that has been fueled in the past by such great campaigns as ‘Crumpy and Scotty’, ‘Bugger’ and ‘Bulls’. We’re pleased Kiwis are enjoying this as much as they did those.”
