Fiverr launch $250,000 billboard giveaway to support small business

Fiverr has launched its new brand campaign, Bill’s Billboard, to provide support to Australian small businesses recovering from the devastating impacts of the COVID pandemic.

Fiverr International Ltd., (NYSE: FVRR), the company that is changing how the world works together, launches today its new brand campaign, Bill’s Billboard, to provide support to Australian small businesses recovering from the devastating impacts of the COVID pandemic.

The campaign, conceived by creative agency By All Means, is celebrating the resilience of more than two million Australian small businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic, by gifting five lucky winners a share in $250,000 worth of outdoor billboard advertising space.

The winning small businesses will be announced throughout the day on Friday 26 February with one of Australia’s leading creative consultants and Fiverr freelancer designing the creative live on top of a billboard in Southbank in real-time.

The pandemic has had a devastating impact on Australian small businesses to date, with Fiverr research revealing that two thirds (66%) have suffered a financial loss as a result, exceeding $10,000 in losses for three in four (80%), and over $100,000 for one in five (26%).

“Australian small businesses have been some of the hardest hit during the pandemic, with many set to feel the lasting effects for months and years to come”, commented Liron Smadja, Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing at Fiverr. “At Fiverr, we’re committed to helping small businesses thrive on their road to recovery, which is why we are providing them with the opportunity to win a share in $250,000 worth of free advertising space.”

The winning small businesses will be gifted much-needed exposure in high profile locations in Richmond, Southbank, South Melbourne and Bentleigh in Melbourne, Parramatta, Canterbury, Greystanes and Rozelle in Sydney, and South Brisbane, Kangaroo Point, Palm Beach, Fortitude Valley, Chermside, Coorparoo in Queensland/Brisbane.
