Former BMF managing partner Chris Kay joins 72 and Sunny
Chris Kay, the former managing partner at BMF, has landed a role at one of the world’s top creative agencies, LA-based 72 and Sunny.
Kay left the Enero creative agency in October last year, citing family reasons.
Kay, whose role at 72 and Sunny is unclear, said, in a statement: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Sydney working with some incredibly creative, smart and super nice people, but the opportunity to work at one of the worlds brightest creative businesses with a team of extraordinarily talented individuals was too good to turn down.”
“Thanks for having me Sydney,” he said.
Kay’s career also included a role as commercial director of Manchester City Football Club in the UK.
So which is it?
Did he leave BMF for “Europe to an undisclosed role and for family reasons” as reported earlier or “to USA for an undisclosed role for non-family reasons”?

Agreed. It reads as though he bailed on BMF in favour of another role…

Thanks for everything Mr Kay, although I do agree you need a shave, you should leave the beard to the creative one.
