Former Diageo marketer Matt Bruhn leaves Australia to return to alcohol marketing in US
Former Diageo Australia marketing and innovation director Matt Bruhn – who returned to Australia in late 2016 to be CMO of GWA Limited, a fixtures and fittings supplier – has returned to the US to become CMO of the Pabst Brewing Company.
Bruhn, who took on the role of Diageo’s local marketing and innovation director in 2012 before moving to New York in 2013 to be global brand director of Smirnoff, left the global drinks giant last year.
Bruhn joined Diageo – which has brands including Smirnoff, Johnny Walker and Guiness – as brand manager for Bundaberg Rum, before becoming sponsorship marketing manager for Diageo Australia, then Asia Pacific.
Upon his return to Australia last year, Bruhn took the role of CMO for GWA Limited which has brands including Caroma, Fowler, Dorf, Stylus and Cristina Taps.
According to his LinkedIn, Bruhn is “selling beer having fun making friends” in his new role, which he started earlier this month.
Arent you suppose to write “he quietly left…” apparently that’s the new euphemism…
