Mollins (l) and Pandeleos (r) will use external partners to deliver services not available in-house

Mollins worked previously at Ogilvy Public Relations as an account director and senior account director before leading Kite Communications as GM for over three years.

Also a GM and head of people and culture with Kite Communications, Pandeleos worked with the agency for nine months after departing Carat Australia as a business director in May last year. She also worked with media agencies including MediaCom, OMD and Channel Seven.

The full service agency offers strategy and planning for integrated communications and is set to offer public relations, digital, SEO, SEM, social media, issues and crisis management, content development, events, strategy and planning, influencer engagement, talent management and media solutions.

External partners will be used to deliver services which are not done in-house including: SEO, SEM, external crisis communication, digital and social and a team of PR and marketing professionals.

The media solutions aspect of the company will focus on strategy planning and media buying, while talent management and influencer engagement will include finding ambassadors and influencers for campaigns as well as managing them.

Pandeleos told Mumbrella: “We’ve both seen a huge shift in the industry and in the landscape as well and we had a very clear vision as to the type of agency that we wanted to create and the types of brands we wanted to work with, so we decided to take that leap of faith and create that vision we wanted to see.”

When asked about Seven Communications’ point of difference in the competitive industry, Pandeleos said the agency wasn’t focusing on its competitors, rather its individual values and business model.

“What makes us really different is that we’re fast and nimble, and we have the ability to adapt quickly and we have senior service on all accounts.

“Unlike the bigger agencies we don’t have a minimum ‘get our of bed’ fee, we will work on projects and retainers that are both large and small and we are a genuine full service agency.

“Heather and I both have a different skill set and we don’t duplicate on our strengths. The industry is moving more towards a world where clients expect their agencies to offer that full service communication,” she said.

The name of the new agency was implemented to mirror the company’s seven values which include: be innovative, commit to excellence, tell it like it is, be accountable, be proactive and have a conscience and be a human being.

“We realised the media landscape and industry was changing rapidly and a lot of agencies weren’t keeping up, including some of the agencies we have worked in over our careers and we wanted to offer something different,” Pandeleos said.

Pandeleos outlined the agency’s vision as being a world class agency that delivers award winning work with four clients already signed in the technology space, travel space, retail space and education space.

The company currently consists of Pandeleos and Mollins, but is looking to hire two new staff members within the next month.
