Former oOh! chief sales officer Tim Murphy joins QMS in executive role

oOh!media’s former chief sales officer Tim Murphy is joining rival out-of-home company QMS.

Murphy will join QMS in a newly-created role in the executive leadership team. The role is unspecified at this stage with more information expected from the company soon.

He had been with oOh!media for over 16 years. The company flagged his departure in March when former Yahoo executive Paul Sigaloff was announced as his replacement.

oOh!media’s CEO Cathy O’Connor said at the time that Murphy decided to take a break before pursuing opportunities outside of the company.

QMS CEO, John O’Neill, said: “Tim is one of the best in the business. He has a proven track record of developing and leading high-performance sales teams, with a commitment to fostering excellent client relationships and delivering significant revenue growth.

“He has been a champion of the digital out-of-home sector, making him the perfect fit for QMS.

“Tim will take on a newly created role at QMS, one that will complement the strengths of our existing executive sales leaders and help shape our company for the next exciting phase of growth.”

Murphy will join QMS in February 2024, based in Melbourne.
