Foundr names Marco Miranda as new chief revenue officer

Foundr has announced the appointment of former tech startup executive Marco Miranda to the role of chief revenue officer based at Foundrs headquarters in Melbourne.

The announcement:

Foundr has named Marco Miranda as their new chief revenue officer. Miranda joins Foundr from Australian publicly-listed tech startup Bill Identity, where he served as the chief operating officer and interim chief executive officer.

Miranda has more than 25 years of executive sales, marketing, and operations leadership experience in high-growth startups and enterprises. He’s worked with global brands like Ericsson, Virgin, NewsCorp, and Foxtel Group. Miranda has also cofounded several successful businesses with his wife specializing in the sourcing and distribution of organic whole foods.

“I’m excited to be working with Nathan Chan and the Foundr team at such a critical phase in Foundr’s history as we define and deliver our three-year growth strategy,” Miranda said. “The Foundr brand is synonymous with entrepreneurship, education, and powerful media content—and is well-placed for the next wave of entrepreneur education.”

“Marco brings a passion and proven track record for scaling up businesses through revenue growth and transforming operating models,” said Foundr CEO Nathan Chan. “We’re thrilled to have Marco’s wealth of executive experience to help Foundr reach more entrepreneurs looking to achieve their business goals.”

Miranda’s other roles include serving as an Innovation Council member for Wilson Group, one of Australia’s largest integrated security solutions companies, and several roles within nonprofit sports organisations. He lives in Melbourne, Australia, and is married with two daughters and a three-year-old cavoodle named Bowie.

Miranda will be based at Foundr’s headquarters in Melbourne.
