Four agencies face-off over $26m Disney media account
Four media agencies are facing off over the $26m media account to be the Australian agency for global entertainment brand Disney, Mumbrella can reveal.
Last week saw presentations for the Melbourne based client with incumbent Carat facing off against challengers Ikon, PHD and Starcom.
A decision is expected in the coming weeks for the account, which covers Disney’s movie division, theme parks, publishing, merchandising and TV Channels such as Disney Channel and ESPN.
All agencies contacted declined to comment.
According to Nielsen, The Walt Disney Company had an estimated media spend of $26.1m in the 12 months until December 2014.
