Shift Communication’s general manager Kate Meyer departs
Kate Meyer, the general manager of Moon Group’s Shift Communications of 14 years has stepped down from the role to look for new opportunities, Mumbrella can reveal.
Meyer joined The Brand Shop in 2006 as group business director with the agency rebranding as Shift Communications in March 2011, with Meyer moving into the GM role following the rebrand.
STW confirmed Meyer’s departure, issuing the following statement: “Moon confirms Kate Meyer has left the agency. Gavin Levisohn, CEO, The Moon Group, thanked Kate for her substantial contribution to the business over many years and wished her all the very best for the future.”
No plans have been announced at this stage on Meyer’s replacement.
Shift clients include Mortgage Choice, Bauer Media’s Cosmopolitan, Poise and Depend.

Miranda Ward worked for Mumbrella from 2013 to 2017, eventually becoming deputy editor. Miranda joined Mumbrella in September 2013 from Sky News.

Kate and I were briefly housemates with a bunch of Aussies and Kiwis in London more years ago than I’m willing to let on.
I worked at DDB Needham and Kate was at Grey.
