Fox Sports to launch dedicated Bathurst 1000 channel

Fox Sports’ dedicated channel for coverage of the Bathurst 1000 is set to return this October.

The channel – Fox Sports 506 – will provide live, continuous coverage of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 from October 2.

Fox Sports’ pop-up channel will also feature new entertainment shows – Bathurst Top 10 Shootout and Bathurst Heroes & Legends.

Bathurst Top 10 Shootout will showcase the crashes, finishes and controversial moments of the Great Race, while Bathurst Heroes & Legend will examine the achievements of drivers including Allan Moffat, Jim Richards, Fred Gibson, Colin Bond, and Mike Raymond.

Bathurst Legends will return at 8:30pm on October 2, Inside Supercars returns on October 4, at 6:30pm and Pit Lane Live, returns on October 6.

From October 5, Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton will commentate each racing session, while Jess Yates and Russell Ingall will analyse the action over the weekend.

Consumers can also access the content via Foxtel Now.

Fox Sports Race Centre be available through foxsports.com.au and the Fox Sports App.

It will provide access to team radios, live timing and racing stats, car telemetry and an up-to-the-minute blog of key events during each race.
