Foxtel Media comms boss Sarah Tucker moves to LinkedIn

Sarah Tucker, head of marketing and communications for Foxtel’s sales arm Foxtel Media, formerly MCN, is leaving the business, heading to LinkedIn to lead its Enterprise Marketing team across APAC.

Tucker will join the business in 2020 and lead the Enterprise team for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, working with the leadership teams across the region to build and implement marketing initiatives with a focus on driving customer value.

Tucker will report to Danielle Uskovic, marketing director for LinkedIn Sales and Marketing Solutions in APAC, who said she was delighted to work with someone with such an expansive skillset.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have Sarah join our team. Sarah’s experience in B2B marketing, passion for ideation and expertise in building effective brand narratives, will be valuable to us as we grow our Enterprise business in APAC.”

Tucker led Foxtel Media through its recent rebrand and was instrumental in the launch of its new event space, Foxtel On Oxford. She said she was excited to be taking on a new challenge.

“I am excited to be part of the team helping brands understand LinkedIn’s valuable position within the marketing mix. The LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business is focused on helping advertisers reach and connect with their ideal customers via the world’s largest professional network.

“In my new role I look forward to leveraging my previous learnings to build marketing programs which will then be scaled across the APAC region,” said Tucker.

Foxtel Media CEO Mark Frain wished Tucker all the best for her new role, and thanked her for her contribution to the sales business.

“During her time at Foxtel Media Sarah helped create effective strategies and initiatives, most importantly our new and innovative entertainment venue, Foxtel On Oxford.

“Sarah commenced her journey here as a Marketing Manager and now leaves an expert in her field and a well-recognised leader who has achieved great successes that have been celebrated by our industry. It’s a proud moment to see her achieve another significant step in her career.”

A replacement for Tucker hasn’t yet been announced.
