Freeview’s marketing boss Jennifer Lee departs with Cameron Crain appointed to role
Freeview’s marketing boss, Jennifer Lee, has departed the company after just over a year.
Lee will be replaced by Cameron Crain, who joins the company from Foxtel, where he was the channel manager for Store TV and Main Event.
Lee joined the TV industry body in February last year, after coming across from 20th Century Fox, where she was associate director of marketing. She replaced Scott Mota, who had led the marketing team since 2015, and left to join Dendy as chief marketing officer.
Freeview has reported Lee left the company in May. According to LinkedIn, Lee’s new role is management representative at Private Idaho Management.
In his new role, Crain will be responsible for driving promotion of the platform and its suite of products.
Freeview Australia CEO, Liz Ross, welcomed Crain to the team.
“Cameron brings invaluable industry experience, and he joins the team in what will be a landmark year for Freeview – our 10-year anniversary,” Ross said.
“We welcome Cameron’s unique skills in an exciting time for Freeview, as we continue to promote free-to-air content wherever, whenever and on whichever platform users choose.”
Commenting on his appointment, Crain added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Freeview team and to be working on such innovative and successful products, with more to come.
Crain’s role is effective immediately.
