FremantleMedia appoints co-director of TV content
Marion Farrelly has been added to FremantleMedia Australia’s executive production team, sharing a title with director of television content Cathie Scott.
According to the production company, “it was necessary to boost executive ranks to oversee the production of successful entertainment formats Australia’s Got Talent, The X Factor, The Farmer Wants A Wife, MasterChef, Grand Designs Australia and Project Runway“.
Scott and Farrelly will also support director of programming Tim Clucas.
Farrelly’s most recent position was entertainment executive at Princess Television (Shine’s UK production company). She has also been the executive editor of format entertainment at the BBC, and worked in Australia at Souther Star Endemol – where she was the series producer of Big Brother 4, 5 and 6.
