Friends and colleagues unite for charity walk in memory of Helen Filov
Friends and colleagues of the late Helen Filov are taking part in a 60km walk to raise money for cancer research.
The announcement:
Helen Filov one of the most popular and loved media professionals in WA passed away suddenly in May this year after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia just two and a half weeks earlier.
In loving memory and in honour of Helen, her daughter Lauren, her sister Julie and her daughter Tahlia, her BFF of 33 years Jan Mancini and her daughter Lucy, along with Louise and Rachel, have formed a team named Hel’s Belles, to participate in The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers 60 kilometre Walk.
The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers™ benefiting Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research is a 2-day, 60km walk through the neighbourhoods of Perth. It’ll be a challenge, but they’re ready to do something bold and powerful in effort to end women’s cancers once and for all.
Friends, industry colleagues and anyone else touched by cancer are invited to donate or join in to help these determined women raise funds in honour of Helen and to support such a worthy cause. Details of the event can be found here.
