Funlab and Stan launch escape room for new Walking Dead series

Aussie entertainment brand Funlab and Stan have partnered on an escape room to spotlight “the launch of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live”.

The announcement:

Stan, the home of three new series from The Walking Dead Universe, has teamed up with Australian entertainment brand Funlab to celebrate the launch of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live with a free themed Escape Room at Strike Bowling Darling Harbour – now turned Stan’s Dead Zone. From February 21 – 25, Sydneysiders can join the search to reunite Rick and Michonne at Stan’s Dead Zone where they will have just 50 minutes before they too become the walking dead. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will premiere February 26, only on Stan.

Forget the outside world, once inside Stan’s Dead Zone at Strike Bowling Darling Harbour, you’re a resident of Alexandria, on a quest to reunite Rick with Michonne once more. Using recovered items from Rick you will retrace and face his past, to find clues about his future. Faced with walkers, you will have to make some tough decisions if your teammates are bitten, so choose wisely.

Keep love alive this Valentine’s Day and book a Stan exclusive experience for your loved one. Head to Strike Bowling and enter the limited discount code: TWDonStan at the checkout to secure your free spot for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Escape Room. The Stan exclusive escape room experience is open for a limited time only so book your slot and prepare yourself for the brand new series.

From the phenomenon that made U.S. history as the all-time highest-rated cable television series, starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick (Lincoln) and Michonne (Gurira) are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead and ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before?

The brand new series will cover Michonne and Rick’s respective journeys to find one another in what Danai Gurira called a “love story” and hopefully give The Walking Dead’s most beloved characters a proper ending.
