FutureBrand hires Sally McNeill as client services director

FutureBrand Australia has appointed Sally McNeill from its Milan office as client services director.

The announcement:

Leading global brand consultancy FutureBrand has strengthened its regional team with the appointment of Sally McNeill as Client Business Director for Australia.

McNeill will be responsible for managing FutureBrand Australia accounts across both Melbourne and Sydney. She moves to FutureBrand’s Melbourne office having joined its London bureau in 2001 before transferring to the company’s Milan office three years later.

McNeill’s previous experience includes working on a wide variety of FMCG projects such as Diageo, Unilever and Nestle in addition to leading Italian companies including Ferrero and Barilla. As well as a host of European blue chips, McNeill’s experience extends to corporate identity, retail and branding projects in the telecoms, travel and retail sectors across Europe.

“My move highlights the effectiveness of FutureBrand’s global network and is part of a new push to intensify the exchange of experiences, methodologies and ideas across the world. It represents a fantastic opportunity for me to experience working with an exciting array of top brands in the Asia Pacific region,” said McNeill.

Erminio Putignano, Managing Director of FutureBrand Australia, said:“Sally is one of the best suits in FutureBrand’s global network and her extensive international expertise will earn her high regard in this region.

“Sally’s appointment is part of a bigger strategy at FutureBrand Australia with new hires planned towards the end of the year focusing on the expanding Sydney office which is active on a number of accounts including Cricket Australia, MasterCard, the Federal Government and GPT Group.”

The arrival of Sally McNeill brings new leadership to the account management team following the appointment earlier this year of Yasmina Pasic and Sheila Babayan. Yasmina and Sheila joined FutureBrand from the client-side, both with wide-ranging brand management experience in Australia and the US.
