GetUp urges Turnbull to free those on Manus Island in mobile billboard campaign
GetUp has launched a campaign to send Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull a message on behalf of people held at the Manus Island detention centre.
The mobile billboards will be driven around Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra to encourage the government to announce its plans for those still detained.
Following the government’s announcement of the closure of Manus Island, the billboards aim to bring awareness to the people in the detention camp by using the hashtag #BringThemHere.
